I was overdue for a review of medication. I have limited mobility and on Oxygen 24/7 so requested a home visit to review my meds. Pleasant receptionist who listened and then said I would probably get a phone call next morning by the Dr. I did and she was very helpful and explained she could review my Meds over the phone. She did, so no problem. Would have been nice to known that before as I wouldn't have left it so long. However, do think that a Patient's Record should also show clearly if Patient has Limited mobility or serious illness problems rather than Patient having to explain that each time. Had to enter an answer regarding Cleanliness but that was not appropriate to me as I did not visit the Surgery.

I believe the appointment system needs a complete over-hall. If you need to see a doctor of your choice, for example the same doctor twice, you have to wait for approx 5 weeks. The amount of people that do not turn up for appointments is partly due to the length of time between booking the appointment and the actual date. Once you see a doctor you get great service.

I can't understand why under the "contact us" tab there is no email address option. I just checked and we are in 2015 which makes the use for a email address much more useful than a fax number for the general public. I would like to discuss an issue with the practice manager, but considering I will have to either write or fax a letter because you can't get through via the rude reception staff on the phone. Maybe I should just publicly write my complaint on this message board so everyone knows ho terrible this surgery is. I think all of us who are unsatisfied should be complaining to our local MP or news paper. This is the only way to get a decent service of which our tax money is paying for. This is totally unacceptable.

I have just called to try and get an appointment for my 8 month old to be told their are no appointees available for the forseable future ?!?!?!?!? and that I will need to call back in the morning. Upon further questioning I managed to find out that this statement meant that the next 4 weeks that have been loaded on to the computer have already been booked up. With 7 Doctors listed on their website I find this to be a shocking number of appointments booked in advanced. The reason for the appointment is not urgent but she does need to be seen within a week, but because of their poor management of their appointment system and customer service you will get non urgent patients taking up valuable appointments. Appointment availability ....or lac of, is not the fault of the reception /admin staff and I'm sure a good chunk of their day is waisted trying to justify and sympathies with frustrated patients.

Just been told by receptionist Elizabeth there are no appointments & I have to just keep trying until more appointments are made available - no telling when this is bizarre considering it is a follow up with the doctor at doctors request?!
